Dakota Mortensen’s fate on ‘Vanderpump Villa’ revealed after Taylor Frankie Paul domestic violence investigation

Dakota Mortensen will no longer appear on Season 3 of “Vanderpump Villa” after his domestic violence allegations against ex Taylor Frankie Paul.

The “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star’s storyline will be edited out of the reality show — set to premiere on April 16 — Variety reported on Friday.

“Vanderpump Villa” follows Lisa Vanderpump’s handpicked staff living together in Europe for the summer.

While shooting at the England digs this past fall, the castle employees tended to various guest groups — including Mortensen and his fellow “DadTok” members: Jordan Ngatikaura, Chase McWhorter, Mason McWhorter, Zac Affleck and Jacob Neeley.

Hulu did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Their time away made waves during Season 4 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” after it was revealed that Mortensen had slept with one of the female staff members at the castle.

Mortensen’s scenes being axed comes on the heels of Utah police investigating allegations of a third domestic violence incident between the social media star and his ex Paul.

A spokesperson for the department told Page Six at the time, “The allegations were reported at the end of February 2026, and detectives have reviewed video believed to have been recorded in early to mid-2024,” the statement continued.

“Investigators are actively working to gather and verify information and are in the process of interviewing those involved. At this time, no charges have been filed, as the investigation remains ongoing.”

Mortensen’s friend reported to police that the social media star was the victim of a domestic violence assault by his ex-girlfriend, whom he dated on and off from 2022 to 2024.

Mortensen then alleged to police that there were “two incidents of physical assault involving grabbing, scratching, shoving, and striking,” the report states.

He went on to file for a restraining order against Paul, alleging that she choked him last month in the presence of their son, Ever. He has since been granted temporary custody of the two-year-old.

The incident has also halted filming Season 5 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”

However, Paul and Mortensen have been involved in multiple domestic violence incidents.

Earlier this month, a disturbing video from 2023 of Paul attacking Mortensen — while her eldest daughter, Indy from a previous relationship, was in the room — was released online.

In the footage, the mom of three tried to kick her now-ex and threw metal barstools at him.

After the clip surfaced, ABC also canceled Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette” — just three days before its scheduled March 22 premiere.

Pauls’ rep said in a statement at the time that the video “conveniently omits context” and Mortensen’s “never-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without any regard for the consequences for their child.”

Mortensen, meanwhile, denied his ex’s allegations, stating, “I am focusing on our son [Ever] and his safety, and hope that Taylor will do the same.”

Despite his part on “Vanderpump Villa” being slashed, Mortensen’s television career hasn’t been derailed just yet.
