Trump bashes Fox News hosts and demands one of them be yanked off air: ‘A real loser!’

President Trump bashed Fox News hosts Shannon Bream and Jessica Tarlov in a social media post late Monday – demanding the latter, who has been frequently critical of the Trump administration, be pulled off air altogether.

“For Fox executives only, take Jessica Tarlov off the air. She is, from her voice, to her lies, and everything else about her, one of the worst ‘personalities’ on television, a real loser! People cannot stand watching her,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post Monday night.

Tarlov, one of the rotating liberal co-hosts on Fox News’ talk show “The Five,” often takes aim at the president.

After Trump on Sunday threatened Iran to “Open the F–kin’ Strait, you crazy bastards,” or face “hell,” Tarlov responded in a post on X: “What an embarrassment this man is.”

Tarlov was notably absent from “The Five” last month during a group interview of Trump over the phone – and the president questioned whether that was her own choice or the network’s.

“The Five” co-host Jesse Watters asked Trump to come back on the show, saying, “Because we really want you to sit next to Jessica. I think you’d be a good influence on her.”

Trump quickly jabbed, “I watch Jessica, and I’m not a fan,” accusing the liberal TV personality of using “fake” polling numbers, like a presidential approval rating of just 42%.

He added: “I’m sure I’d like her, I’m sure she’s a lovely person, she’s just not for me.”

Watters joked, “I get it, we’re working on her, don’t worry.”

Trump then questioned her absence from the interview, saying, “Now tell me, did she not want to do it or did you kick her off the show?”

“We didn’t kick her off. She had a previous schedule she couldn’t change,” Watters replied.

Tarlov later shared a clip of the interview in a post on X, writing, “Was so bummed to miss the show today! But I definitely would’ve said he’s even inflating his numbers to 42%!”

In his Truth Social post Monday night, Trump also took aim at Bream, who hosts “Fox News Sunday” and is also the network’s chief legal correspondent.

“Tell Shannon Bream of FoxNews [sic] that it’s not the Save Act, it’s the Save America Act, a big difference!” Trump wrote. “Also, when she insists on having lightweight Democrat Congressmen, such as Jake Auchincloss, on her not very hard hitting show, she should correct them when they spew out Democrat propaganda and lies. She never does!”

After passing through the House, the SAVE Act, also known as the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act or the SAVE America Act, has been stuck in the Senate despite the president urging representatives to vote through the legislation.

The new legislation would require Americans to show a photo ID when voting in-person or by mail, and to prove they are citizens when they register to vote.

Trump’s criticism was also aimed at Bream’s recent interview with Rep. Jake Auchincloss (D-Mass.), who argued on the show that the White House has no real plan to end the war in Iran.
