Travis Kelce fuels speculation he secretly married Taylor Swift with podcast comment

One step forward, three steps back.

Travis Kelce sparked speculation he secretly married Taylor Swift on the latest “New Heights” episode — but some fans aren’t convinced.

Podcast guest Jerrod Calhoun mentioned Swift in passing during Wednesday’s sitdown while joking about Kelce returning to college.

“You’ve got to ask your wife,” the University of Cincinnati men’s basketball coach quipped.

Kelce, notably, did not correct Calhoun for referring to his partner in this way.

The Kansas City Chiefs player simply pretended to tell Swift, “Sweetie, I’m going back to school.”

The podcast moment went viral on social media, with one X user claiming this meant “the wedding happened.”

Another Swiftie, however, pointed out, “I called my husband hubby for years before we actually got married.”

Many noted that Swift labeled Kelce her “fiancé” during her acceptance speech at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards last month.

Some chalked up the whole controversy to an April Fool’s joke.

Reps for Kelce and Swift did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

We previously reported that the duo, who started dating in 2023 and got engaged two years later, will walk down the aisle in Rhode Island on June 13.

On Wednesday, a source told us the “Catching Kelce” alum has a Bahamas bachelor party planned for late May.

“It’ll be chill. Just guys having a good time,” the insider predicted, noting that Jason Kelce and Patrick Mahomes will be among those in attendance next month.

Travis and Swift, notably, have vacationed in the tropical spot before.

As for the bride-to-be’s festivities, Us Weekly reported Wednesday that she is planning a getaway with her close friends, including Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez, but won’t have bridesmaids on her big day.

The outlet alleged that Swift, instead, will have her pals “sleep over at her Rhode Island home the night before the wedding.”
